gcolor2 software package provides Simple GTK2 color selector and picker, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcolor2
gcolor2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcolor2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcolor2 *
You will get with gcolor2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
